Christou Vol. 58 No 1/ 2010/ 7-18 Th e development of electronic travel services over the Internet has assisted greatly travel agents to better anticipate to changes in consumers' shopping behaviour as well as to changes resulting from socio-demographic profi les of consumers (Go, Van Rekom, & Teunissen, 1999; Bedard, 2000).
